Hi everyone its jane from the natural kitchen this month I’ve been looking at natural ways to boost the immune system and today I’ve been looking at apple cider vinegar which is what this video going to be about. Now, apple cider vinegar also known as ACV has been used as an elixir, tonic and beverage since around 5000BC. More recently has been used as a wound disinfectant up until the last century. Apple cider vinegar is made from apple yeast and a certain type of bacteria and when these three ingredients are mixed together with get something called acetic acid which has been proven to help many essential functions within the body three of which I’m going to be covering in the short video.
Now firstly, detoxification. Apple cider vinegar is fantastic and helping your body to detox it actually binds to toxins within the body so they can be eliminated more easily, helps stimulate blood flow and also cleanse the liver.
Next up is digestion, This is the thing that apple cider vinegar is probably best known for. Apple cider vinegar helps to increase production of stomach acid which can assist in the process of digestion helping to speed up and make that process more efficient. It’s also great for upset stomachs and you can even mix a couple of teaspoons into a glass of water and sip this throughout the day.
Lastly ACV great for boosting your immune system.
Apple cider vinegar in addition to all the vitamins and minerals you could be lacking that it contains is also an antibacterial, anti-fungal and antiviral, so it can help protect your body against foreign invaders and aid your immune system.
