Apple cider vinegar for heart burn

Apple cider vinegar for heart burn

The first time someone mentioned to me that apple cider vinegar can be used to treat acid heartburn I must admit I was pretty skeptical, the idea of adding an acidic substance to my stomach that already felt like a volcano just seemed crazy.  That being said I had been trying everything the pharmacist could offer me and although I had some positive results nothing was really getting to the route of the problem.

My friend explained to me that heartburn occurs due to a lack of essential stomach acids apple cider vinegar helps to restore your stomach back to its natural PH. Armed with this new knowledge I decided to give it a go and headed to my local health store to purchase a bottle of organic apple cider vinegar from a company called Braggs. It’s always best to buy raw unfiltered ACV when looking to use it for health purposes as the processed versions have many of their health benefits removed during pasteurization.

How did it taste?

Well if I’m honest the taste is far from nice, that being said although very bitter I’ve never urged when drinking. In my opinion tastes less offensive then many bar bought spirits that we happily pay $5 a shot for.

I was amazed at how effective this method is in not only relieving the symptoms of heart burn but combating the problem at the root. I have taken no medication for heart burn for around 6 months now and a simple glass of ACV once a day mixed with water keeps any signs of it at bay.

If you or anyone you know has been having trouble with heartburn, then I would highly recommend trying apple cider vinegar. I had positive results in less than 24 hours.
