Question from a lady in Minnesota, the question reads. ‘Can I use vinegar to cure my yeast infection?’ Vinegar is an excellent substance to use, there are many different types of vinegar you can get but the one not to use is the commercial white vinegar most commonly found in supermarkets. The best vinegar to use for vaginal infection is apple cider vinegar, preferably unfiltered, raw unpasteurized and organic. We have some very good ones here in New Zealand but I think Braggs is one of the best global brands.
Apple cider vinegar has been studied at various natural universities around the world and one study I read recently published in 2011 showed that apple cider vinegar can be more effective at treating vaginal infections that a large percentage of available prescription drugs. This is due in part to its ability to balance PH levels within the vagina, but also down to its powerful anti fungal and microbial properties.
There are many nutrients to be found in natural high quality ACV, most often people dilute the vinegar down using filtered or distilled water before using it as a douche and I hear nothing but positive results when people try this for themselves. However be sure not to use commercial white vinegar as this can be highly damaging to the vagina.
Well As I’m sure you can now see this is a cheap and highly effect method of treating, yeast infections, bacterial vaganosis or any other virginal related health issues. If you have any questions please drop us a comment below.
